I've been to Colombo's Pizza to eat and when they brought me my pizza they brought it in a box and the box was so dirty it looked like it was used more than once. The pizza was so raw and soggy. When i went to the washroom the walls were so dirty and disgusting and smelled like urine. I had to hold it until i left. I think there had to be mice because i saw things moving. I think here the health inspectors never came to check the washrooms. The floors were so filthy and greasy. I would never return to this place and will not recommend this place to anyone.
I had a large deluxe well done and wow, best pizza I've ever had. It was juicy, succulent and crispy, the toppings sang with delight while the band of cheese and wonderful rich tomato sauce played in perfect concert.
I have been a customer for 38 years. The best pizza on Danforth. The previous reviewer is an idiot. He should only be allowed to order french fries from McDonalds, when Colombo's closes for the evening.
Been eating Colombos forever. The best on the Danforth. Its the food not the atmosphere. People need to remember that sometimes the best food is at the local greasy spoon!
Colombos has the nicest pasta dishes ive had outside of a fancy restaurant. Great portion sizes, great pizzas, great prices and great owners. Will return again and again.
Since being taken over by new owners, this restaurant/take out has become my favourite place to eat on the Danforth. With great pizzas and fantastic pizza dishes there is something for all of the family, all at great value for money. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Made an impromptu visit to Coloumbo's pizza last night - and was wowed by the experience! The inside doesn't look like much - but the owners were SUPER hospitable - and the food was great. They even whipped up a dessert pizza for us to try. Nutella, strawberries and banana slices, attractively arranged on a pizza dough base. Delicious!
Be sure to try the arancini. Fabulous! We took a couple home - and they were just as good the next day.
I had tasted Colombo's pizza and rice balls at a friends place. Both were delish. I decided to try it so I ordered for delivery. The owner seemed very pleasant on the phone. I ordered 2 rice balls and a small pizza for delivery. My place is just on the bountry for delivery so I expected it to take about 45 minutes. After a hour, I received two strange phone calls from someone who spoke very little english asking where my address was. I didn't realize that it was the delivery guy. How can you be a delivery person if you don't know the city in which you live and work? Sick and tired of ordering food and having to deal with south asia or middle eastern people who don't know the language. My food would have been alot better if it was hot, i sure. For that reason, this place is just average and I would think twice about ordering for delivery again. I may attempt to walk in to the resturant and pick something up. Sorry Charlie
Great arrancini (not sure of spelling) rice balls that I've ever had. Worse delivery guy I've ever had. OMG!!!! SPEAK ENGLISH PEOPLE and know what our currency is and what it's worth!
Had there riceballs not impressed at all!!? Dry, no flavor Lamannas bakery in Scarborough makes them good.
